Woke at 3am when, in Melbourne, Mandy came home and the home wifi sent all of her queued messages. Remind me to return the favour sometime. Got up at 4, and skyped Mandy as arranged at 5am, but the connection was pretty bad.
Taxi arrived a bit early, and the security guard wouldn't let me in the foyer to get the breakfast they'd left me, so I was at the airport at 6am. They actually had free wifi that was better than the hostel, so we managed to get skype going and catch up on what had been happening since we parted in Miami.
Eventually went to spend as many of my remaining Argentinian pesos as I could, as they are worthless in Australia and nobody will exchange them, then boarded the flight. In typical Argentinian fashion, the estimated time of arrival differed by over an hour between the ticket, the onboard computer and the captain's announcement, which actually matters as I have a tight connection in Sydney. We'll see which of the three times was closest when we arrive I guess.
