Walked for loop track at Edith Falls before we left. 1.5 hours up across the top of the cliffs to the Upper Pools which were open for swimming. Good views of the campground below. Drizzling rain, but better than Darwin where it was pouring due to Cyclone Francis passing by just offshore.

Off to Katherine for morning tea and petrol. $1.29 /litre

Arrived at Mataranka Hot Springs for late lunch and wallow in the springs for the afternoon. Cleared the inline water filter in the van, trying to improve the flow. Cloudy with occasional drizzle which made it bearable in the van. $30 p.n. for 2 with power. Campground has a few people, but feels empty compared to peak season. Not all facilities open.
