Drove in to Muttaburra to join most of the locals to prepare the showgounds for the upcoming Landsborough Flock Ewe Society Show - basically the local annual sheep show.

Not sure I had the right hat on to indicate that I was a sheep person (the right hat for your trade is extremely important, and is certainly different to a cattleman's hat) but I held the gates and passed the bolts as the yards were assembled, whilst Mandy entertained the kids as the ladies held their formal business meeting.

One of the advantages of being in a small community is that you can call on anybody. They wanted to wash down all the buildings, bars and concrete floors, so they just called the fire brigade guy who brought the fire truck down, and hosed everything in sight. Job done.
