For some reason, both boys dragged themselves out of bed at a ridiculously early hour to take us to the airport. The airport wasn't as busy as we expected, even though it was the first day of the school holidays. Left on time. Korean Air Airbus A330. We even got the seats I reserved online 11 months ago.
On-board entertainment was only on a centre screen, so we had a 2 hour feature documentary in Korean about a Korean model combing her hair lots, and obsessing about her flawless skin and camera lighting. It was followed by a film in English about people in a forest who morphed alternately into wolves or vampires, and threw themselves off cliffs in a futile attempt to kill themselves. If only they'd succeeded!
Arrived on time - lovely airport - voted second best in the world last year. Kwon came and picked us up at arrivals and took us back to our room, which is really a second apartment he rents in his building for paying guests. Clean and modern. Its located in the airport business centre so it was only 2 minutes away, and there's a free shuttle bus everywhere.
Sorted ourselves out then walked down to the Hyatt to see if the concierge could organise us a day tour for tomorrow, but his contacts were shut, so we ended up taking the airport shuttle back to the tourist desk in the arrivals hall and booking it there.
A shop in the local supermarket, then into bed.
