Arrived in Hue about 11 AM. Took a fleet of taxis to the hotel -- an old big French built hotel, where we left our stuff and went for a sidewalk lunch -- had banana pancakes. Walked to the Perfume River and caught a Dragon boat up the Perfume River to the Heavenly Lady pagoda, back on board to TuTuc's tomb -- the fourth king of Cambodia. Saw his tomb and the Imperial Palace. Rode all the way back into town on the back of a motorbike. Even Mandy was game! Both safe drivers so a huge tip. Got to the Citadel in gathering darkness. Couldn't go in but very long and impressive from outside. Down to the internet cafe where nothing worked, then off to a nine course banquet with live entertainment in another fleet of taxis.
