Bought breakfast things at the supermarket across the road, while also buying things for tea on the train. Had breakfast, found an ATM to restock the wallet, then packed and moved stuff into the day room. Ordered motorbikes at 10:30 and swept through town on the way to the Buddha statue, then to Chum Pagoda with lovely view of the city. Finally arrived at the mud baths. Naturally fed from hot springs. Quite a ritual. Wash under the spray hoses first, then sit in a tub as it fills with hot mud and wallow for 20 minutes. Then bake in the sun for 15 minutes, and rinse off. Get pulverised with jet sprays, then soak as long as you can stand in a hot tub at 38°. Finally swim in the hot pool and sit under the waterfall if you wish. Perhaps a normal temperature pool at the end would be very refreshing. All up it was cleansing and fun but a little too hot for comfort.

The bikes were waiting to take us back to the motel. Mandy is turning into a real bikie chick. Late lunch/early tea to compensate for night on the train. Only one of the five meals ordered was correct -- rather a comedy. Bus to the station and 6pm departure to Saigon. Still first-class sleeper but older train. Slower and stops all stations. Some sites of Saigon included a man riding his motorbike with a full-sized refrigerator strapped to his back.
