We had actually finished all the things that the guide was required to show me, and so I was told that if I was happy to pay we could do almost anything or go anywhere. I ended up paying entrance and parking so that we could go up Dai Cai Hill to see the view of the town, and then stopped at some local farms to look at the paddy fields and river dams.
Was taken to the airport around lunchtime where we farewelled Sunny and the driver and got another taste of barging through queues at airports. This time I was off to Xian.
Met by a new guide the airport and pretty much taken straight to my hotel to check in and spend the evening.
