Had an early morning shuttle ride to the Kansas City station. The train was full and we got the last two seats together. There was a Bronx cheer when the movie Seabiscuit was announced on the train 'by popular demand' for the third day in a row. Arrived in Chicago early. Booked a second room for the night, and waited for Mandy and Brendan at the subway station. Went to tea at a local diner then enjoyed an evening together. Mandy liked her present from Frederick's.
