We spent the day walking around Ottawa. We saw the frozen canal which is also the longest ice skating rink in the world, locks, Big Ben-like Parliament buildings complete with stray cats, usual offices and galleries. Brendan posted Jo's present. Had lunch in Rideau Mall then walked across the bridge into Quebec State to see the museum's Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. Eventually walked home in the dark and cooked tea in the unit again whilst watching some more ice hockey.
