Went to church at the Trinity Episcopal church a couple of blocks away. Very high Anglican. Nice church, lots of actions, low on substance. Afterwards, headed to the French quarter and Bourbon Street. Did a walking tour and looked at many of the old buildings. Listened to jazz from outside the pubs. Looked at the masks and decorations inside the shops. Had lunch at a Creole restaurant. Brendan sat and watched the street theatre while I wandered. The street cars were not operating due to an accident, so we waited for a bus back, and watched the Super Bowl live. The new England Patriots beat the Carolina Panthers with four seconds to go, and Janet Jackson had a wardrobe malfunction.
