A fairly smooth and uneventful flight on a Boeing 777, apart from the one toddler with oversized lungs. For some reason, they served us a full hot dinner at 2am, an hour into the flight, which nobody really wanted, then about 5 hours into the flight, just when we'd all fallen asleep and the toddler had succumbed, they turned all the lights on and announced that they were serving sandwiches. Anyway, it's churlish to grumble about being served too much food, and both the plane and the food were lovely.

Normality was restored when they served breakfast a couple of hours before arriving into Sydney, about the time you'd actually want it, and we landed almost on time.
