Left before breakfast in order to get the car back to Dublin by 10am, though we had time to stop on the way at a McDonalds for porridge.
Not much to tell really. Dropped the car off at the airport, got a courtesy bus to the terminal and sat around for 6 hours till our Glasgow flight left. (Aer Lingus)
A really short flight across the wee ditch - only 45 minutes in a twin prop plane. Picked up our new rental car - a Peugeot 207. Nice and new, still manual and tiny, but it does have airconditioning. We can only hope that Scotland is warm enough to use it.
Found our way to our accommodation a few kms out of Glasgow proper, checked in, then drove down the road to see what was open for tea, and ended up having pasta. It was very mild as we walked, almost balmy.
