A layover of about an hour in Hong Kong, which was just enough time to go out the gate and straight back in through the full security bit, grab a coffee, upload yesterday's blog, and get back on the same plane.
Left again about 8am Hong Kong time, so the preceding leg was considered night time, and the 9 hour flight to Melbourne was during daylight.
Arrived pretty much on time in Melbourne, and both the boys came to pick us up, even though they were going away to Sydney at 4am the next morning.
It's been 100 wonderful days in 12 memorable countries, and we managed it without sickness or incident (volcano notwithstanding). I suppose that the reflections will take time to digest and the highlights to become apparent, but we've been so lucky to have the opportunity to do it, the means to afford it, and somebody special to share it with. Hope it's not the last.
