Mandy's internal clock had still not adjusted so we woke early. Breakfast at the hotel. Walked to Clark Quay MRT and down to the harbour front. Bus across to Sentosa Island, and the shuttle to Tanjong Beach. Walked all through the south of the island, and climbed the tower at the southernmost point of mainland Asia then continued to Siloso Beach and Sentosa resort. Up the road through the rainforest to the Cable Car Plaza, where we caught the bus to the ferry terminal to get a cool break. Watched bird encounters and the fountain gardens. Had satays for lunch. Bus back then the MRT, and visited the mosque and the sultan's palace. Back to the room to rest. Walked to the station and took the MRT then a bus to the night zoo. Had Bongo Burgers for tea while we waited for the zoo to open. Queued for the 'creatures of the night' show -- otters, owls, python, cats. Very good and full. Then did a 45 minute train ride through the zoo and saw elephants, rhinos, giraffes, lions, tigers and a host of others. Caught the bus and train back, and walked home.
