Took the Alcatraz tour in the morning which included the rangers tour of the island complex. Hired the audio tour of the penitentiary, and watched a film about the island. When it finished we had lunch at Subway and took the trolley bus along the Embarcadero, then the cable car to Lombard Street. Visited the cable car museum then went back to the motel. At tea time we took the bus to the Hard Rock Cafe and Starbucks down at Pier 39, then caught the cable car back home. Watched American football, and Ashley stocked up with Big Red gum at 7Eleven.
