Took a bus tour of the old Quebec town in the morning. The tour was okay, but foggy windows made it awkward. We saw the old fort, citadel, Place Royale, Castle Frontenac, and the Plains of Abraham where the French -- British war lasted all of 20 minutes. After the tour we stayed around, and walked through the shops in the Fort. The boys rode a bobsled, and Mandy rolled some toffee in the snow. Then we walked through the Citadel and the Plains of Abraham back to the motel, stopping for lunch ordered in French. It was certainly the coldest day at -6°. Plenty of snow but none falling. We walked to the train, and went to Montréal. Took a couple of local trains to the motel, and watched Dick Clark end the year at Times Square.
