Mandy and Ashley's last day. Took the early shuttle and metro to DC. Started with a tour of the Capitol building, but a lot of areas were off limits due to the President's State of the Union address that evening. Walked to the Washington Monument and went up to take in the view. Walked to the Korean and Vietnam war memorials and the Lincoln Memorial. Past the White House and on a train out to Arlington Cemetery for a bus tour complete with Kennedy grave, eternal flame and the changing of the guard. Back home. Quiet time and a romantic dinner with Mandy while the boys shopped. Packing, sorting and then bed.
