Given a lift to the station by the hotel, then took the train into Dallas. We looked at the spot where Kennedy was shot, the window in the book repository, and the museum. Spend some time on the Internet at the visitor centre, took the lift to the top of the Reunion Tower for a look at the city, looked at some fantastic bronze sculptures of riders herding cattle in the local park, then took a Melbourne tram to the west end of the city for lunch. Afterwards Brendan went back into town and I did a little shopping before eating in. Mandy's present arrived at home tonight -- took six days, and she was thrilled. Dallas is a clean, modern, friendly city where everything works well. There are no beggars to be seen.
