San Francisco

Took the cable car to the museum for a look, then to Lombard St which we walked. The cables for the cable cars only last 10 days, and the brake mechanisms only last four. Morning tea at Pier 39, then Brendan did a tour of San Francisco for a couple of hours while I bought the last of the computer gear. Took the tram down the Embarcadero to the U2 site, then down to Pacific Bell Park -- home of the Giants. Paid a visit to Mission Delores -- the oldest building in San Francisco -- but it was shut. Bought some shoes on the way home. Had some lunch at Johnny Rockets so we weren't very hungry for tea. Spent the evening packing the gear, and chatting to Mandy while she was at athletics with Ashley.
