After an early morning walk to the service station for milk with Brendan, we headed north to the inevitable sounds of the Playschool tapes. Stopped at Mildura for morning tea and a bun. Whilst sitting in a park the Mudies went past and pulled into a service station. After greetings, they too stopped at the park for their buns. It was after 12 when we all headed towards Renmark. Stephen came with us and provided a great source of distraction for Brendan.

Arrived at the Cottees Orchard, owned by the Wesley Central Mission of which Terry is a director. 550 acres of citrus farms. We camped in the orchard where the pickers put their vans. Water, power and toilets were provided, and plenty of fruit to eat.

It was good to finally rendezvous with the Mudies -- Brendan has immediately taken to the company.
