We spent most of the day trying to fix cars and caravans. The manager of the orchard thumped his foot against the caravan brakes to try to free the piston unit, which was so stiff as to be virtually useless, and broke the brake fluid line at a point where it had corroded and worn through. Luckily the orchard had welding gear so they fixed it, reinstalled it, and bled the brakes. Terry couldn't get his car started but that turned out to be a stuck starter motor.

Watched the pickers pick oranges, and rode on the tractor pulling the laden boxes which Brendan enjoyed. Took a short drive to the Murray River.
