First to Crystal Brook for petrol, then to Port Augusta for morning tea in a park overlooking the Gulf, and our 'last chance' shop. Took the inevitable right turn and headed north, stopping at a roadside stop for lunch.
We reached Pimba at afternoon tea time and went straight to Woomera. Unfortunately, the museum only opens in the mornings, but we took some photos of the planes outside and let the kids have a long play at the park. Was impressed with Woomera -- much bigger than I expected. We camped at the campground -- well next to the appointed toilet block. No paper but no fees either. Next to the local club and cricket oval, so a bit of noise. Oh well!
