We caught the catamaran across to Magnetic Island for the day, landing at Arcadia in company with the Mudies. We bought a day pass on the island bus and went for a tour of the island on a far more civilised bus than last visit. Lo and behold on our trip we saw the old 'Galloping Gertie' in the bus yard. After a visit to Horseshoe Bay on the sheltered side of the island, and Picnic Bay which is the largest town on the island, we returned to Arcadia and explored the beach at low tide using a National Park beach and water trail. After another swim in the pool, we caught the ferry back to Townsville. A rough crossing with a few breakages on board.
Went to pick up our mail, but none from family or home. Nice news from Brett and church though. Large shop for food.
