Probably our latest start owing to the luxury of a small distance to go. Stopped at Ingham for morning tea and a play in yet another park. On a short distance to Lucinda -- a small fishing village on the coast near Hinchinbrook Island. It boasts the longest jetty in Australia built to transport the local sugar produce by boat.
Our first genuine rain of the trip -- not bad for day 44. We are not far from Tully which has the highest rainfall in Australia, and so when it rains it doesn't do it by halves.
