Set out all prepared to conquer the 3 km long jetty, but it starts on private land and there is no public access. Instead, we had to settle for a wander out on the short public jetty to check out the fishermen.
Moved on to Cardwell for lunch on the beachfront, through Tully to Mission Beach. Did a wander through South Mission Beach and Wongaling Beach before deciding on a caravan park in Mission Beach proper.
Brendan got to see Playschool today for the first time since leaving home thanks to a TV in the recreation area. We thought it would be the highlight of his day, but to our surprise he had to be prompted to remember it later.
