Called in at Ayr for our weekly shop and morning tea. On to Bowen in time for lunch at the caravan park. There seems to be a lot of caravans heading north all of a sudden after deserted roads for weeks. Caravan park owners are also confirming it -- a very late to start to the tourist season, but they are arriving in droves now.
Mandy and Brendan played on the beach and swim in the pool during the afternoon while I worked. Had a short talk and play with the Mudies after tea.
The weather has turned windy and a little cool. We bought Brendan a Thomas puzzle in Ayr, and it was a huge hit.
