What a miserable day for a lovely spot. Rained all morning with only a brief stop, and on and off all afternoon. Went for a drive to Shute Harbour in the morning, but apart from the loading of the Hayman Island ferry there was nothing to do or see. Had morning tea in a coffee shop in Airlie Beach to relieve the monotony, and a short walk between showers.
A good afternoon for Greg to work. The rain eased off after tea, so when Brendan was asleep we went to the resort restaurant for a cup of coffee and then for a short walk.
Mudies couldn't find us when they arrived early morning, so they ended up in the Airlie Cove caravan park way down the road.
