Went for a drive to Conway Beach where Brendan had a lovely time paddling and playing in the sand. Made a large-scale model of Thomas the Tank Engine complete with Annie and Clarabell. After lunch on the foreshore, we returned to the caravan and Greg worked while Brendan slept.
The Mudies arrived just after three, and joined in the minigolf and table tennis, and endless plays on the equipment. Enjoyed a barbecue tea together for our last meal, as we will be moving faster than them from now on. We intend to get to Brisbane and Expo before the Queensland school holidays, while they will go during the holidays.
After the Mudies bade farewell, we wandered down the street for a dessert of ice cream. Weather was mild and cloudy, and while it never threatened rain, it hasn't been swimming weather, though Brendan managed a quick one this afternoon.
