Brisbane

Today was Mandy's day at Expo, and I was rostered to mind Brendan. Mid-morning we dropped Mandy at Sandgate Station, then went shopping for a replacement hitch-pin and hubcaps for the caravan. Dropped in the next film for processing and bought Brendan a 'paint with water' book to keep him busy. After an early lunch back at the caravan, I took Brendan to a concert at Liz's day care centre. The plan was to leave him in Liz's care for the rest of the afternoon, but he wouldn't leave my side, so after the performance finished I brought him home and with a bit of encouragement he fell asleep.

While Brendan slept I got a bit of work done. At Brendan's insistence we had pizza for tea, then went to pick Mandy up at the station. It rained off and on all day which kept the Expo crowds down and enabled Mandy to see about 15 pavilions.
