Up bright and early to a fine but very cold morning. Headed into Kerang for petrol, where the service station ran out halfway through filling. Photographed another Sportspower shop, then off to Robinvale for lunch.
Stopped at a wonderful park in Swan Hill for morning tea. Was cheeky enough to ask the man weighing the wheat trucks delivering to the station silo whether he would weigh the van. Although against the rules he let me sneak in after a truck. The car was 1660 kg and the caravan 1200 kg, although as they're still coupled together with the level rides there may be some inaccuracy.
Lunch at Robinvale where they were putting effort into facilities with the brand new public toilet block complete with shower and heater. Another Sportspower photo.
Arrived at Mildura mid-afternoon and visited the baseball ground where Brendan had won the state championships, and the motel he stayed at. Yet another Sportspower photo where Brendan talked the owner into letting him wear a Carlton jacket and cap for the scavenger hunt. Camped out on the Murray at King’s Billabong and psyche pumps - just us and lots of mud.
