A few errands like the post office and petrol meant a bit of a late start, but a wonderful tailwind soon made up for that in time and fuel consumption. Lunch at the plaque in the shadow of Central Mount Stuart – the centre of Australia.
Camped under the Devil's Marbles for the night with about 20 other sets of campers. Much busier than last time but basically the same facilities. Climbed the Marbles at two points and took some lovely photos.
A full moon and no wind meant that it was very light and pleasant sitting outside after dark. So light that most of the stars couldn’t be seen.
