Had a great relaxing day. The boys stayed in the room, and Mandy and I took a bus into Newport. We visited the pier where Australia II based themselves when they won the America's Cup in 1983, had lunch in the bar they adopted during their visit, and then walked through the historic downtown and caught the trolley bus to the back beach to walk along the famous cliff walk past the huge mansions called cottages, including the Vanderbilt's "Breakers". Cooked tea in the room again, and watched 'the Simple Life’ and a Kennedy documentary.
