Took the hour-long bus back into Providence. It was -10°. Then the train to New York, arriving just after lunch. Took the blue line subway to the motel on 94th near Broadway. Had McDonald's for lunch, then a long walk around part of Central Park while the boys slept. Watched basketball in the room after tea. The room is small, the bathroom tiny, and few TV stations because we have no cable. However the rate is incredibly cheap for New York.
