Took the subway downtown, bought two day hop-on hop-off tickets and started with the Empire State building. A cloudless day but about -15° so it was frigid, and we had all of our clothes on. Hopped on the double-decker bus to Battery Park, and caught a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Thawed out at lunch at Pizza Hut. Visited ground zero, and got back on the bus for a tour of downtown. Grabbed a drink and got straight back on a night lights tour. Walked around the Rockefeller Centre, Times Square, and Broadway looking at lights before catching the subway home to watch 'Forces of Nature' on TV.
