St Petersburg

A 2 1/2 hour drive to St Petersburg through Tampa. We stopped at a mall to buy Mandy a Valentine's Day present, then at a post office to send it, along with a couple things Brendan had for Jo. We spent ages trying to find the motel we booked. After stopping for lunch and fruitlessly ringing, we went to another Ramada Inn that we had passed some way back to find that the one we had booked into had been bulldozed for a Super Wal-Mart. They let us stay with them, but not at the cheap rate we'd booked at the other place. Went to Fort De Soto Park and swam at the beach -- it was so warm. Back to the room where Brendan sprayed a bottle of grape Fanta all over the room. Some serious internet time in the business centre after tea.
