An uneventful run to Erldunda, followed by a swim. The caravan park is surprisingly full by nightfall. Most people seem to be using it as a base to get to the Rock early the next day. Shared the site with thousands of ants. The facilities were fairly basic, in fact the ladies all but packed up and they closed it. Couldn't help feeling that the owner was out to recoup his money in a very short time. Petrol was the dearest so far, employees were haggling over fees with patrons, the book we eventually bought Brendan in Alice Springs had a 20% markup, and milk was $1.90 per litre! (80c in Melbourne). But I suppose you can charge what you like -- you can't go anywhere else.
