Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia

A busy working day today. A complete check and clean of the car and caravan, and a number of loads of washing. A morning shop at Palmerston, after getting two new tyres fitted on the rear of the Tarago. We then took the caravan to a brake place to get the brake hydraulic line fixed, and while we left it there we took our first trip to Darwin proper -- lunch in the mall, photographs developed, and then a drive around the suburbs seeing the East Point reserve, Fanny Bay, government buildings, and the highlight of Brendan's day -- feeding the fish at Doctors Gully with bread. The inevitable swim before tea, though it is generally cooler once you get out. Decided that the fridge needed assistance and bought a bag of ice which helped somewhat. The temperature is about 35°C and humidity about 60%.
