Cairns

My first real outing was this morning to the caravan park to pick up the van. The manager of the unit said we could park the van out the back, which meant all our gear was accessible. Mandy perched me in a chair next to the caravan to give directions while she packed everything and hooked the caravan up. I parked the van at the back of the unit without too much trouble. While I had a sleep, Mandy and Brendan went back to the play centre and paid the bill. Brendan announced in a loud voice to the lady that he wasn't coming here any more, but he did enjoy it.

Mandy took me into town in the afternoon for a haircut at last. It's been the bane of my existence for the last few weeks, and is now quite short. Had a short walk around the main city block, before heading back for tea. We had an oven in the unit, so puddings and the like were on the menu.
