A busy day. We left early and headed south to Gymea Bay to pick up a beach towel I'd left at Springvale Homestead which another couple coming after us had retrieved. We then parked the van at Sutherland station and caught the train south to Wollongong to see Peter and Heather Dunn in their flat before they head off to sea on Sunday. Peter picked us up from the station in their four-wheel-drive, much to Brendan's delight. Had a nice pizza lunch and a look at their wedding photos. After a short tour of Wollongong we caught the return train and picked up the van. We drove north right through the centre of Sydney during peak hour, and over the Harbour Bridge, which was a potential nightmare for Mandy, but we didn't miss a turn.
Tea with Jan McKenzie in Dee Why, and a great evening of catching up on news. Boy can teachers talk! Finally prised ourselves apart, and got home after midnight.
