Following another pre-breakfast swim in the lower pool, we moved on to Kakadu.
We unhooked the van at the Pine Creek entrance and ranger station and went down a dirt road to the Gumlong waterfall. A great place to swim and soak on a hot day, even if you have to share it with a few freshwater crocodiles.
Just made the 4:30 sunset cruise at Yellow Water. Now $25.00 for adults, but they still had five boatloads despite this being the fifth cruise of the day. Spotted lots of birds and, much to Ashley's delight, lots of crocodiles. About 20 by his reckoning.
A few miles after dark to the Muirella campground near Norlangie, to avoid another move in the morning. Shared the campground with plenty of mosquitoes, though not as ravenous as the last time.
