Our work day. Every major town has one.  Cleaned the last of the oil off the front of the caravan with neat detergent, did a few loads of washing, cleaned and checked the car etc..  Afternoon tea time we finally headed into Palmerston to do our shopping.  Unfortunately they're doing major construction, the photo shop’s machine was broke, and the queue in the post office was huge, so we cut our losses and drove to Casuarina.  Had much more luck, did a big shop and posted lots of letters.

After tea, Mandy pulled on a pair of stockings and some heels, and went off to do a farewell party for a Darwin group of Japanese exchange students.  We don’t think that the tax office will allow the full holiday as a business deduction, but you can always try.
