Darwin

Went back to Casuarina for a relaxing shop and wander, oh yeah! By the time we had done all the essential shopping it was time to head off to a park for lunch.  We actually detoured a little to the wharf area and found six warships tied up at berth – two destroyers, two destroyer escorts and two frigates.  So after a bit of a walk, we had lunch and then visited Thyra.  Spent the afternoon talking in her flat. Andrew kept the boys amused with Sega games while the girls talked.  Their flat is opposite Fanny Bay racecourse where there was a race meeting in progress – all four races of it!

Visited a car wash to restore the car to some semblance of white, then bought fish and chips and ate them watching the sun go down over Fanny Bay.
