A fair bit of packing up this morning after a long stop with both the awning and small tent being used. A short shop (okay I lie – there is no such thing as a short shop) at Palmerston then off.

Adelaide River War Memorial for morning tea.  A wander through the graves, and a photo with Charlie the buffalo out of Crocodile Dundee.

Pine Creek for lunch and a quick hit of baseball in the picnic area.

Decided to stay at the Springvale Homestead again because of its nice pool.  The option for the boys was to go to Katherine Gorge.  A swimming pool or another gorge – it's no contest.  The caravan park at the homestead is starting to show its age, and we saw much more crowded parks on the way in.  Light entertainment here isn’t a patch on Mataranka.  Still owned by the same people.
