Supposedly a quiet rest day so that I didn't have to drive, and would arrive home rested. It turned out to be a morning driving around the suburbs without maps looking for Sportspower shops. I think we managed four shops and the last photo for Brendan’s scavenger hunt in the process.
Our trip unintentionally took us to the top of Belair national park and the lookouts there, so we had a good view of the city. Didn’t actually make it into the city centre, but it turned out we’ve done a fairly extensive tour of the suburbs.
After lunch and a bit of a read, I took Brendan for a game of golf across the road. He’s got quite a nice swing and enjoyed the game – especially having a caddie. Then we went across to the softball ground for practice alongside all the girls.
A quick tea so we could get the boys to the drive-in theatre for the showing of 'Matilda’ – a Roald Dahl story. Seems that Adelaide has quite a few drive-ins left. The boys sat in the front, and we curled up in the back.
